KPP Endura-Max Plus™ is the only electrolyte paste with gastric-protection properties. In addition to delivering electrolytes vital for horses competing in long-distance, low-intensity exercise, KPP Endura-Max Plus™ contains a buffering agent that reduces the effects of gastric acid accumulation and increases your horse’s comfort during a ride. KPP Endura-Max Plus™ is a paste that can be administered quickly during a ride.
How is Endura-Max electrolyte different from KPP Summer Games Electrolyte? KPP Endura-Max Plus™ is formulated specifically for endurance horses. The amount of sweat loss in an endurance horse far exceeds that of any other sport horse. During long rides, calcium and magnesium may be lost in amounts high enough to cause metabolic disorders. KPP Endura-Max Plus™ contains added calcium and magnesium in highly available forms.
Ingredients
Sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium acetate, dextrose, dihydroxy-aluminum sodium carbonate (DASC), aluminum phosphate, and glycerine.
Feeding Guidelines
For immediate oral supplementation or preloading prior to a competition, use one-half to one tube of Kentucky Performance Products Endura-Max Plus™. During a competition, a horse should receive one tube at each vet check. Horses should always have access to block or loose salt and fresh, clean water.
