Description

As a result of the environment, work and the feeding regimes that domestic horses are exposed to, the stomach can become irritated and sensitivities can occur. This results in a loss of condition and performance. Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets contains ingredients to soothe and coat the stomach providing support against these stresses. Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets should be given to all competition horses and those on high concentrate diets, with every feed.

Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets do not contravene with current Jockey Club or FEI rules; Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets can continue to be fed whilst the horse is competing.

Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets can also be used for foals.

When should you feed Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets?

Daily to any horse:
On a high grain diet.
In high levels of work.
Showing signs of ulceration - dull coat, loss of weight and condition, yawning or gulping, or reluctance to eat hard feed.
During or after use of NSAID e.g. Bute.
Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets can also be crushed into a paste and given to scouring foals.

Ingredients

Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Glycine, Kaolin, Diatomaceous Earth, Bentonite, Vegetable Oil, Dried Apple Pectin Pulp, Zinc Oxide, Magnesium Silicate, Aloe Vera, d-Pantothenic Acid, Licorice, Silicic Acid precipitated, Preserved with Ammonium Propionate.

Feeding Guidelines

Feed Equine America Ulser Gard Pellets with your horse’s regular feed. For an average 500kg horse: feed 40g (2 measures) twice daily for the first 60 days. For maintenance: feed 20g twice daily. For Foals: feed 20g daily.
