Description

Horses can experience nervousness and tension before exercise or competition causing them to misbehave or ‘wash out’. Equine America So-Kalm Plus Powder contains a premium grade Magnesium with L-Tryptophan, an essential amino acid associated with the production of serotonin, to calm and focus the horse, that fed daily can aid concentration and willingness to work, but without removing the edge required for competition.

How does it work?
The main ingredients in Equine America So-Kalm Plus Powder are L-Tryptophan and Magnesium. L-Tryptophan is a naturally occurring amino acid responsible for controlling concentration and excitement. Therefore, supplemental L-Tryptophan is an excellent choice for highly strung, young horses or those with a lack of focus. Magnesium plays an important role in nerve health, with a lack of magnesium in the diet being associated with anxiety and tension.

Equine America So-Kalm Plus Powder will need a 4-5 day build up and can be fed on a long-term basis.

Ingredients

Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Dextrose, Vegetable Oil, L-Tryptophan (Technically pure), Magnesium Oxide, Botanical Extracts. Preserved with Ammonium Propionate.

Feeding Guidelines

For an average 500kg horse, feed 28g daily with the horse's regular feed. Day of event: feed an additional 28g the morning of or 1½ to 2 hours prior to event.
