Description

Shaker Gard Powder is a powerful formulation of antioxidants and minerals to support the delicate nerves in the head and nose. Shaker Gard can be used as a daily supplement long-term or seasonally, either during the pollen filled spring and summer or the crisp bright autumn, or whenever your horse requires the support.

It is also recommended that the horse's teeth and tack are checked before feeding Shaker Gard.

When should you feed Shaker Gard?

If your horse or pony is head shaking, nose rubbing or head twitching.

Head shaking is a complex condition. If after investigating other possible causes such as teeth, tack and sinuses you still do not have any reduction in head shaking, try Shaker Gard. Shaker Gard is also effective in reducing irritation in horses with seasonal shaking.

How does it work?

Horse's eyes are set on the side of the head, creating a blind spot directly in front of them. To counteract this the nose is covered in sensitive nerve endings, providing information through whiskers on food and objects encountered. It is essential to keep this system of nerves free from any interruptions and irritations. Shaker Gard provides an intricate mix of specific minerals associated with nerve health, helping to vitalise nerve endings. Shaker Gard is also formulated with powerful antioxidants to cleanse and protect the nervous system.

Ingredients

Magnesium Gluconate, Dextrose, DL-Methionine, L-Glutathione, Zinc Oxide, Sulphur, Folic Acid, L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Dalpha Tocopherol Acetate (source of Vitamin E) 5000 mg/kg, Biotin, Preserved with Ammonium Propionate, Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6).

Feeding Guidelines

For an average 500kg horse, feed 28g for 30 days with the horse’s regular feed. Thereafter, feed 14g daily for maintenance. Feed others according to weight, less for smaller horses and ponies, more for larger breeds.
