Description

Magnesium has many roles within the body including the health of nerve endings and fibres, and reduction of magnesium in the diet may show in a horse as tension or nervousness. Equine America Magnitude Powder is a highly-absorbable form of Magnesium that should be fed daily to horses or ponies to promote healthy nerve tissue and reduce nervous tension.

For very young, excitable or overzealous horses, requiring focus, increased concentration and calming, a product from the So-Kalm Plus Range will be more suitable.

So-Kalm Plus Paste may also be used as a pre-competition addition alongside Magnitude.

How does Equine America Magnitude Powder work?
Magnesium is involved in many essential processes within the body and is an important mineral in general health. It is also integral in achieving correct nerve and muscle function. If magnesium is deficient in the diet the horse can appear nervous, tense or anxious. An increase in magnesium can decrease these symptoms in some horses. Equine America Magnitude Powder can also be used in combination with So-Kalm Paste at shows or events.

Feeding Guidelines

For an average 500kg horse, feed 5g daily with the horse’s regular feed. Repeat as required or as advised by a veterinary surgeon. Feed others according to body weight, less for ponies and smaller horses and more for larger breeds.
