It’s never too late! Specially formulated for competition horses and ponies, and for those with excessive wear and tear to their joints.

Equine America Cortaflex® is now fortified with Hyaluronic Acid (HA) for even greater benefit to the joints, particularly those that have experienced excessive wear and tear.

HA is a major component of synovial fluid, which is essential for providing the joints with lubrication and the cartilage with nutrients. HA has traditionally been derived from type II Collagen sourced from Rooster Comb, which has a high molecular weight of up to six million Daltons. This form of HA has been shown to be very effective when injected but is not considered to achieve a good rate of absorption when taking orally due to the large molecular size.

The Hyaluronic Acid used in Equine America Cortaflex® is of vegetable origin and has a molecular weight of less then 50,000 Daltons. It is believed that this is more readily absorbed, providing Hyaluronic Acid to the joints in a non-invasive way.

Feed Equine America Cortaflex® HA Powder to:

Competition horses or those with joint problems, at a high dose for maximum support. Feed at maintenance for performance and longevity of healthy joints.

Ingredients

Dextrose, Isolated Soy Protein, Glycine, Glutamine, Proline, Glucuronic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Avocado/Soybean Unsaponifiables (ASU), Mucopolysaccharides, Hyaluronic Acid, Ammonium Propionate (preservative), Monosilicic Acid, Aspartic Acid, Arginine, Histidine, Manganese Sulphate, Pyridoxine HCl (Vitamin B6), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Sulphur, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Copper Sulphate 5 mg/kg (added).

Feeding Guidelines

For an average 500kg horse: for high performance horses and those with excessive joint wear and tear, feed 1 measure (15g) daily. For others feed ½ measure (7.5g) daily. Feed according to body weight, less for smaller horses and ponies, more for larger breeds.

450g Tub (2 month supply at maintenance or 1 month at high dose).
4.5 Kilo Tub (20 month supply at maintenance or 10 month at high dose).
